Film Camera
For our task we where given film cameras to take photos of things we felt matched the weird and wonderful criteria. To take the images, i went behind the flat i live in the car park and used the spiral stairs and the passage way as a scene for this shoot. I think the shoot went really well, however when the images where developed in the dark room onto contact sheets, only a few where actually clear and a good shot. The rest where blurs or just not good shots. After looking closely at which ones we wished to have larger, we then went on to the dark room where we went to enlarge our images. These below are what i resulted with. As you can see my first attempt was too dark as i took it out of the first set of chemicals too quickly, not giving it chance to dissolve with the solution properly. On the other hand my second shot was a lot more successful as i got a clear shot of her sitting on the steps. Ii also enlarged the one where my model is standing in the door way, which came out perfectly the first time i did it.

We also experimented with pictographs where we placed all our objects on a piece of light sensitive photography paper. We did this with the light coming from the projectors that wouldn't ruin the paper we where using. Once this was aligned in the place where our pictures would be, we would switch this light off and pull back the slide that was covering the light from coming out. This went wrong the first time i tried it as i didn't align it perfectly then moved it into place. Of course this made the image smudged and not what i had hoped for it to come out like. I then had another go and got a lot better result. We then put these through the same chemicals we used for the film cameras and developed them.
